Casa Boca is a guesthouse placed in Vama, small village in Bukovina s heart, surrounded by mountains and forests, which name owes to the ancient medieval border that separated the kingdoms of Moldavia and Transylvania.
Casa Boca has 16 rooms, including doubles, twins, triples and one quadruple, with beautiful views to the valley and the summits of Carpathians Mountains.
Our house has 4 modern and complete bathrooms, with 24 hour hot water, traditional and central heating, 2 comfortable sitting-rooms with colour TV and DVD, parking, farmyard and a huge garden. In Casa Boca you can enjoy lots of homemade traditional recipes, tasty example of Romania’s gastronomy.
Vama is the ideal headquarter to make the route of Moldavian Monasteries, declared Unesco’s World Heritage Site since 1973. In Casa Boca we can provide you a guide, professor of Arts, who will make your visit even more interesting.
There are trains from Bucharest to Vama but almost always you travel by night; most frequent is travelling from Bucharest to Suceava, where you can take another train to Vama or where you can wait us to pick up you.
By car, arriving from Campulung Moldovenesc (E576) to Gura Humorului, drive 2,5 Km from Vama’s entrance and turn on the right. You can ask about us in the village, everybody know us!
